Terms & Conditions of Bookings -

Accommodation

The accommodation cannot be sub-let or assigned. It cannot be let to a person under 18 years of age. Only the persons shown on the guest register are permitted to stay in the property. No pets permitted.

Arrival

Arrival time at the property should be after 4pm local time. The property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. These times may be varied by prior arrangement if circumstances permit. An early arrival, or late departure may incur a fee, and all variations will be subject to confirmation in writing.

Cancellation

In the event that you should cancel your confirmed booking the following cancellation charges will apply -

Please note that the booking deposit is non refundable. However, if we can re-book the the cancellation dates, any monies paid would be refunded (excluding the deposit). We strongly recommend that insurance be taken out at the time of booking to cover possible cancellations.

Force Majeur

The owners of the property or their agents will not be liable for loss or delay howsoever caused, includingStrikes, Riots, Political Unrest, Hostilities, War or threat of war, Terrorist activity, Industrial Disputes, Fire, Flood, Weather or any event[s] beyond the owners control. We cannot accept any liability for Death, Personal Injury, Sickness, Delay, Loss of luggage/ personal affects, or any other misadventure which may occur whilst renting our accommodation.

Insurance Cover

Guests are required to have appropriate travel/ holiday/ medical insurance for the period of the holiday.

Payment

A booking deposit of £150 per week is payable to reserve the required dates. Full payment plus the security deposit is due 8 weeks before the arrival date. Bookings made within 8 weeks of departure will require full payment to be returned with the booking form. A receipt will be sent on acceptance of the booking deposit and booking reservation form confirming the date of the villa rental, the full payment required and the due date. The final payment receipt letter will include directions to our villa, the digital front door code, the guest registration form and other useful information.

Security Bond

A security bond of £200 will be held against loss or damage occasioned by the use of the property by the parties to this agreement. The bond will be fully refundable after a satisfactory status report has been received from our house-keepers.

Smoking

The owners respectfully request that guests refrain from smoking inside the villa.

Swimming Pool

The property has a swimming pool. We do not accept liability for injury or death howsoever caused as a result of the use of the pool. Children must be supervised at all times as the pool is around six feet deep at the deepest part. Guests must also exercise great care on the surrounding surfaces which may be slippery when wet. Please note that it is a serious offence under Florida law to temper with the pool door alarms which are provided for your children's safety.

Tampering

It is essential that guests do not tamper with the controls for the air conditioning unit and the sprinkler systems located in the garage, or the swimming pool controls in the lock box outside the villa. Adjusting these controls could cause extensive damage. Your security deposit may be forfeit if any damage is caused.

Telephone

All local, emergency and incoming calls are free. All outgoing long distance and international calls are paid for by the guest occupying the property at the date the call is made, either by credit card or calling card.

Jurisdiction

Signature of the booking form constitutes acceptance of a contract on these terms and conditions subject to English law and the jurisdiction of the English courts.
